Nathalie Volk publishes her memoirs – at the age of 26. For the publication of her book, BUNTE.de met the ex-GNTM candidate for an interview. And Frank Otto was also a topic.
Nathalie Volk (26) has experienced a lot in her life – and at a young age. From taking part in “Germany’s Next Top Model”, which made her famous in Germany at just 16 years old, to the trip to the “Jungle Camp” and the relationship with Frank Otto (66), who is 40 years her senior – the 26-year-old who has been calling herself “Miranda DiGrande” for several years, has a lot to tell and would like to share it with her fans and also with her haters. So she wrote a biography. In my own words – A day without lies is the name of the good piece that was published by AK Networking & Verlag on September 15, 2023 and takes readers into the world of Nathalie Volk, aka. Miranda DiGrande kidnapped.
BUNTE.de met the dark-haired beauty in Munich at the Pixx Lounge to celebrate the publication of her book.

Nathalie Volk presents new book and is “very excited”
“I’m very excited,” admits Nathalie Volk – but her partner Frank Otto gives her support. He repeatedly puts an encouraging hand on her back – and she also reaches for her brother during the interview. “He’s camera shy,” she says with a laugh. She worked on her book with a ghostwriter for over a year, but the story is hers. “First I wrote everything down and then I had to cry,” remembers the 26-year-old. “I had some kind of different memories of my life, so I needed some support.” And she gets it: also from her mother, who is also there that evening. But today she can laugh about what she experienced, she explains. “I think it’s the case that at some point you can laugh about the things that you used to cry about – and you can come to terms with it.”

Nathalie Volk and Frank Otto are happier than ever
When asked about Frank Otto, the 26-year-old goes into raptures: “It was different when we got back together,” she explains. “We have a much closer bond and we can also appreciate each other better.” You can see that this evening too: Secret glances, quiet whispers and tender touches show how familiar the ex-GNTM participant is with her partner, who is 40 years her senior. “When you break up, you realize what you’re missing,” she admits.

Miranda DiGrande: “GNTM should be canceled”
The young Nathalie Volk gained fame primarily through her participation in Heidi Klum’s (55) casting show “Germany’s Next Top Model”. Looking back, she sees the experiences she had on the show as negative. “Basically it wasn’t a model show, but a puppet show. A circus,” writes Nathalie. Her biggest criticism, however, is the model mom, who she calls “Hyena K” in her book. designated. “This show had its time and I think it should simply be canceled,” she says clearly to BUNTE.de.
