Biographical Notes:
Greg Iles was born in 1960 in Stuttgart, Germany, where his father headed the U.S. Embassy clinic during the height of the Cold War. In 2011, after the accident which almost cost him his life, he began working on Brasier noir, the first volume of a trilogy continuing with The Tree of the Dead and which ends with this volume.
