The White Lotus fans, get ready for season three! Actress Natasha Rothwell has been announced as the first cast member to return, reprising her role as Belinda Lindsey from the show’s debut season. Prior to her confirmation, Variety was the first to break the news. Rothwell’s return was also shared on her Instagram page, where she expressed excitement to bring Belinda back to life.
Rothwell received an Emmy nomination for her role in the first season of The White Lotus. She’s also appeared in HBO’s Insecure, as well as Sonic the Hedgehog and Wonder Woman 1984.
Fans may be curious about season three’s setting, which creator Mike White teased in a statement following the show’s second season finale. “It feels like it could be a rich tapestry to do another round at White Lotus,” White said. “The first season we highlighted money and then the second season is sex and I think the third season, it would be maybe a kind of satirical and funny look at death in Eastern religion and spirituality.”
