Natalie Morales has announced her departure from NBC after 22 years with the network. The anchor will join ‘The Talk’. Here are five things to know about the reporter.

The journalist, 49, said she was excited to “pursue a new adventure” in the note, but did not disclose details of her upcoming trip. Natalie has worked for NBC for 22 years. She served as host for Access and co-host of Access live. In 2006, Nathalie joined TODAY as a national correspondent. With this role, she went on to report on various NBC platforms including NBC Nightly News, date limite, and MSNBC. She was named as TODAYanchor from the west coast in 2016. The journalist became a correspondent for Deadline in 2020.

In 2018, the journalist published her first book, “At Home with Natalie: Simple Recipes for Healthy Living from My Family’s Kitchen to Yours,” a cookbook inspired by her own family. Nathalie said Los Angeles Confidential in 2018 that the kitchen is her way to relax after long days at work. “The inspiration really came from my family,” she said. “For me, when I come home from work, my relaxation is being in the kitchen and experimenting with food. I wanted to write a book and I was thinking about what to do. My children would say to me: ‘Mom, you like to cook! Why don’t you write down what you know? I was like well that’s what most people do, that makes sense! Most people don’t know this part of me, they don’t know that I love to cook.

Natalie balances her career as a journalist and cookbook writer with motherhood. She shares sons Joseph, 17 and Luc, 13, with her longtime husband Joe Rhodes. The two have been married since 1998. According to her Instagram posts, Natalie is also the mother of a few rescue dogs.
