Top of the Top Sopot Festival has begun in earnest. One of the stars who graced the stage of the Forest Opera is Natalia Nykiel. The young singer talked to Oskar Netkowski about how she felt before going on stage and her musical plans.
Natalia Nykiel in Sopot
After so many years on stage, does Natalia still get nervous before concerts? – There’s always stress. I always have a stomach ache before going on stage and when I tell my team about it, they laugh at me, that everything is fine then. If my stomach hurts, it means that everything is in place. But it’s like my stomach hurts in this option of accumulating this adrenaline that is about to have an outlet on stage – she said.
In her conversation with Oskar Netkowski, the star also recalled her performances from years ago. It turns out that one of the first places where the singer had a chance to perform in front of an audience was there was a church pulpit.
– Later, on the first stages, I sang with poetry sung in high school with my rock band, a long time ago. (…) My first concert with my material from my first album, the first one before the official premiere concert, was a big thing, because it was a support for Ella Eyre, the Ella who sang “Waiting all night” with Rudimental – said Natalia.

Despite the fact that Natalia has achieved great success on stage, she decided to continue her education. She recently defended her master’s degree. – I have two papers. The first one is environmental engineering, the second one is cultural studies of Latin America and the Caribbean – the star clarified. She added that completing the second of the mentioned courses is not indifferent to her work.
