From Tres Arroyos to Buenos Aires and from the Astros to the world. This will be the connection that the local singers Natalia Lara and Melisa Morales will have, who on the next 12 of the current will step on the tables of the Astros Theater in Buenos Aires to perform a streaming show.
“The event arose from a contact, from things in life,” Natalia indicated at the beginning. “A colleague told me that he was going to be at the Astros in a streaming session on December 12 and I said ‘I want to too, put me in too’, he contacted the producer and then he got off the date. I thought, ‘now what do I do, who am I going to be with?’ … there I had the opportunity to choose the artists with whom to share the stage. What I wanted was to do a night with former participants of La Voz, I threw the wave to a couple, Melisa (Morales) wanted and the other, which is Javier Lara who was in the battle with me, also wanted ”he added. To complete the list of artists, Natalia summoned Dulce Mota, a singer she met on the train. “The day I was outside La Voz, I went out to sing on the train and we started talking. She is a singer of funk, rock, soul, reggae, she has sung a lot with Los Cafres and has also done it in Bolivia. It is a grossa ”. Once the artists said yes and the production gave the go-ahead, preparations began. “We are with the last little details” both highlighted. “I can’t imagine the show, what I do imagine is that when I finish singing each song, it will give me something because no one will applaud me …” Natalia confessed, adding: “It will be strong to be there singing in an empty theater. The good thing is that you know that the people will be on the other side, I know each one of those who bought the ticket, day by day I sell and it is a flash because that person is betting on you and has an incalculable value because you don’t buy that, it is one of the beautiful things in life, and the beautiful and simplest things in life cannot be bought ”. Here, Melisa Morales “runs with an advantage” because less than a month ago, she made a show of these characteristics. “Mine was different because I was with live musicians, and we talked to each other, and I also forced them all to applaud because they were there,” Morales said with a laugh. But, unlike that show, this time the Tres Arroyense will be alone. “I’m going to do the show alone with a track… a huge stage and by myself. My hands start to sweat thinking about how it will be, but I imagine it will be beautiful, extremely cute ”.
The proposal
Each artist will perform a 25 minute show. On the occasion, Natalia will take the opportunity to present her own song. “I have a song that I am going to present at the Astros, which featured the musical production of Claudio Bocanegra, along with Diego González and Sergio Pessina. It’s called ‘Spirit’ and the lyrics talk about being happy, since that’s what we’re here for. I want to tell all the people who are dedicated to art never to lower their arms, to those who sing that they never stop singing, to those who dance and who are happy doing what they love to never stop doing it, for me that is a good message. And that they continue to do what works well for them, those that do them good do not stop doing it, be it singing, be it writing, it does not matter ”. There, Natalia recited the last stanza of her composition as an example of the message she wants to give. “I would like to add a little thing, so that he will never forget / a solita, life will be, in which traces we are going to leave / smile, enjoy, dance perhaps, go on a trip, go for a walk / I only ask you to be happy, that nothing else matters. ”
A break
The pandemic has caused long pauses in all activities, although none as long as those related to culture. At this time, each of the singers lived different situations. “It made me much more sensitive, much more artistic… I started writing, I am composing my own songs. I think it hit rock bottom, it was a 2020 like that, a total washing machine in many things, many aspects, financial, family… there were tragedies, I am going through tragedies, but everything can be solved and it will be solved. The important thing is that I never lost the horizon, where I want to go: I want to be free to do what I love and I keep giving it hard, that is the idea in this life ”, synthesized Melisa Morales. They were undoubtedly strong changes, although she managed to channel them in a positive way. “I reinvented myself. It was not bad … because it is painful to go through many processes together, but that made me realize how strong I was, that I did not even suspect that I had so much stamina, and I think it did not hurt me, on the contrary, it did me good because Work projects keep coming out, things keep coming out, music keeps coming out, the possibility of meeting other renowned artists also arose in this pandemic, so all this was not in vain, it was productive after all. It is painful, but all change processes are quite painful ”. Morales recently had the opportunity to host his first streaming show. “It was very cute. I was contacted by some girls from here, from Magic Eventos, to whom I send a greeting because they have trusted me, in my work, in my career and have supported me because they are also my sponsors ”, he said. The pandemic found Natalia Lara in another country. “He caught me in Spain, 45 days ago I had arrived. I was very distressed, all I wanted to know was when I was going to see my mother again, it was the only thing that worried me “, he remarked and said that” it was April and Air France did not answer the phones or answer the emails, imagine that everything was there Crowded and they didn’t give me a ball until July … that is, until July I didn’t know when I was going home. In that period I had a couple of hard moments, but I never lacked food or where to live. On September 3, I just managed to return ”. Beyond the uncertainty experienced during her stay outside the country, Natalia Lara gathered a lot of experience on her journey. “I am risky. I threw myself into the pool. I had the opportunity to get to know Europe and I said yes, but the consequences were those too. I went because a person invited me, that person had a business and the business was closed. I went to work in a place and put it that the place closed, so you think ‘let’s do our thing, grab the guitar, go with the hat to the square’ but there were no people ”. Despite this, Natalia managed to perform several shows. “When I arrived, Adrián Heim, from Tandil, who lives in Spain, introduced me to the people who allowed me to do my first tango show in Marbella, in a cultural association called Lla Arte. I will always be grateful to them ”.
Thanks
At the end of the note, the artists thanked the people who collaborated so that they could perform at the Astros. Melisa Morales thanked “my musicians with whom we also recently presented a song, who are also my sponsors: Nacho Aizpitarte and Facundo Durán. To Tiermersma Tres Arroyos Structures, to Works Paintings in General Gherbi. To Cristina Marconi and Verde Limón. To many friends who really do not want us to name them but they are wonderful people who live among us … I believe that God is moving the contacts for us so that the path opens up and that we continue to believe in those projects that are within us, precisely They are there for us to specify. I’m super happy with all of them ”. Natalia thanked “Javier de Marco Polo, Mario Re Inmobiliaria, Mayer Automotores, Trezzo Termotanques, Mio Figlio, Lubricentro Acuario, DVD City, Zoom Computación, Ravella, Mastro Batteries, Alejandro Conti, JSH, Sorti, Luis Canosa, Lo Pedro, Martín Alarcón’s Shop and especially Rubén García Construcciones ”.
Finally, both took advantage of the space to thank the “Directorate of Culture for the contribution made to travel and the deputy Pablo Garate. We also want to highlight the help of the people who with the purchase of their ticket allowed us to build the Astros Theater. Thanks to their collaboration, we can reach this great stage and that is why we want to give our best ”.
