“My start is tomorrow, so it’s hard not to feel these emotions. In fact, there are less than 24 hours left. I felt the greatest emotions when I arrived at the Olympic Village. It was the second time I was at the stadium, because the stadium is really impressive. I didn’t have the opportunity to train there, because I arrived a bit too late, but I was already at the competition and when you see those packed stands, it’s really a big wow. I’m sure there will be a little stress, for now I’m approaching it as a task. I have the eliminations, the semi-finals, I hope, a possible final, so only when I get to the final will I start thinking. I know that this is a very tough tournament. I know that the girls will run very fast. You can see it in the elimination series, because I have an Olympic champion and a bronze medalist from the world championships in it. That speaks for itself, these are the games. I’m focused on the task, I want to get to the first place, and if I get to the final, I’ll start thinking about what’s in it. I really like to lock myself away at destination events. Not go out into the outside world. I feel very good in my surroundings, then I feel the support and it’s definitely easier for me to run.„
