Nasrat Haqparat’s opponent is out, UFC is looking for a replacement

A week before Nasrat Haqparast plans to start his first UFC appearance in 2021, his fight is again on the brink. After Haqparast himself replaced the injured Guram Kutateladze in a duel with Don Madge, the South African had to cancel a week before the fight.

The South African opened the message himself Instagram public and said that he and his team had not obtained a visa due to the travel restrictions for South Africans to the US, so that he could not fly to Las Vegas, where he was to meet Haqparast in the cage on March 13th. According to Madge, the UFC had taken all the precautions, and the consulate in Johannesburg and Cape Town immediately rejected it. Madge would have boarded the plane to Las Vegas on Sunday.

For Haqparast, the first assignment for the UFC in the new year is again on the brink. The hamburger should have fought at UFC 257 back in January, but was removed from his duel against Arman Tsarukyan by UFC doctors on Libra Day due to symptoms of a staph infection. As the 25-year-old announced, the UFC is already looking for a replacement opponent for Haqparast, who is already in Las Vegas.

The Hamburger is set to play his seventh UFC fight in the near future. Of his six previous wins, he was able to win four, most recently in August 2020 against the American Alexander Munoz, a wrestler coach from the Alpha Male team, on points.
