Nashenka sentenced to prison in the USA, helped Ruzha Ignatova – 2024-04-04 06:50:02

Bulgarian Irina Dilkinska has been sentenced to four years in prison for participating in a large-scale fraud scheme in Ruza Ignatova’s OneCoin company (on the picture). This was announced by Damien Williams, a prosecutor in the court in New York, quoted by Nova TV.

The company started operating in 2014 and is based in Sofia. It offers a fraudulent cryptocurrency of the same name through a global multi-level marketing (MLM) network. Victims of the scheme were tricked into investing over $4 billion. Dilkinska pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud and money laundering.

In March 2023, it was reported that a Bulgarian woman named Irina Dilkinska had been extradited to the US and charged in connection with the OneCoin crypto scam.

She worked as the head of the company’s legal department. The indictment alleged that she helped create shell companies to launder money and preserve property belonging to “crypto queen” Ruzha Ignatova. Dilkinska is also alleged to have helped lawyer and OneCoin co-conspirator Mark Scott launder $400 million. After his arrest, she destroyed incriminating information and notified another person involved of the arrest.
