The NasDem Party responds to the departure of the Deputy Regent of Bandung Sahrul Gunawan to the Golkar Party. NasDem considers Sahrul Gunawan to be a burden to the party.
Reported detikJabar, Friday (18/3/2022), Chairman of the Advisory Council of the West Java NasDem Party, Rajiv, said that Sahrul was no longer part of NasDem. Sahrul Gunawan’s membership card has also been automatically deactivated.
“The KTA is automatically inactive,” said Rajiv via text message to reporters, Thursday (17/3/2022) night.
Sahrul’s departure to the NasDem Party did not make him lose. In fact, according to him, cadres like Sahrul are just a burden to the party.
“NasDem has never felt lost with Sahrul Gunawan, because his presence has become a burden for the NasDem Party, especially Bandung Regency,” he said.
Instead of feeling loss, NasDem even felt grateful. “NasDem is actually grateful, before 2024 enters the political year, cadres who do not have a fighting mentality and do not have political ethics have been eliminated automatically,” he said.
