The NASDAQ Composite is trading 1.06 percent weaker at 13,390.95 points in NASDAQ trading at 8:01 p.m. At the start of Wednesday trading, losses of 0.695 percent to 13,439.68 points were on the price board, after 13,533.75 points the previous day.
Over the course of the day, the NASDAQ Composite fell to 13,355.80 points. The stock market barometer, however, marked its highest level at 13,499.74 points.

On a weekly basis, the NASDAQ Composite has so far recorded a loss of 0.467 percent. A month ago, on September 18, 2023, the NASDAQ Composite price was 13,710.24 points. The NASDAQ Composite recorded a value of 14,353.64 points three months ago, on July 18, 2023. A year ago, on October 18, 2022, the NASDAQ Composite was at 10,772.40 points.
The index has recorded an increase of 28.92 percent since the beginning of 2023. The NASDAQ Composite peaked this year at 14,446.55 points. However, the low for the year is at 10,265.04 points.

Among the weakest NASDAQ Composite stocks, however, are Escalon Medical (-12.50 percent to $0.26), Modine Manufacturing (-9.32 percent to $42.40), Ebix (-9.21 percent to $6, 01 USD), Agenus (-8.33 percent to 1.05 USD) and Sangamo Therapeutics (-8.12 percent to 0.53 USD).
