OSIRIS-REx sample
NASA’s OSIRIS-REx spacecraft went all the way to the asteroid Bennu, and went through various difficult tests such as the troublesome collection process, return voyage, throwing the samples away, and returning the samples to the atmosphere. To do this, the team had to develop entirely new tools, which took several more months.
