The James Webb Space Telescope will launch on December 22.
The largest telescope is designed to be able to see the universe further, as well as into the past, than has been observed so far.
Initially this telescope was actually launched on December 18, but had to be postponed due to a slight technical problem.
The Webb telescope uses an astronomical mirror 6.5 meters in diameter.
To spread the mirror in space, the telescope takes about two weeks.
