NASA Warns of Giant Asteroid Threat, Size of Eiffel Tower, to Hit Earth in October 2024

Bloomberg Technoz, Jakarta – The United States Independent Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) said a giant asteroid the size of the Eiffel Tower would hit Earth in October 2024.

This asteroid, named 2007 FT3, measures 314 meters (1,030 feet). The asteroid has energy equivalent to 2.6 billion tons of TNT.

This giant asteroid was reported to have disappeared from NASA’s view since it was last discovered one to two days before the incident.

With the disappearance of this giant asteroid, NASA’s Center for Near Earth Object Studies identified and found 89 potential impacts on the loss of the asteroid, one of which is the prediction of hitting Earth on October 5, 2024.

Reporting from Iflscience, this prediction is actually nothing to worry about, because one of the points where the asteroid was closest to Earth occurred in 2019. However, there was no collision between Earth and an asteroid at that time.
