NASA Scientist Admits Possibility of Life on the Moon Due to Human Actions

A senior NASA scientist has publicly admitted that there could indeed be life on the moon, due to “human actions”.

Speaking to Space.com, Prabal Saxena, a planetary researcher at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, said humans and human technology already in existence for more than 50 years have “polluted the moon with life.”

“One of the most amazing things our team has found is that the lunar south pole may possess properties that could enable the survival and even the occasional growth of some microbial life,” she said.

“We are currently working to understand which specific organisms may be most suitable for surviving in such regions and which regions of the lunar polar regions, including those relevant for exploration, may be more suitable for supporting life,” she added.

She pointed out that the pollution caused by human exploration trips to the moon, in the last fifty years, provided a kind of life for the creatures.

Humans are scheduled to travel to the Moon again in November 2024 as part of NASA’s Artemis missions.
