JAKARTA, kilat.com- Pluto was once the farthest planet in our Solar System. It used to be because its status as a planet had been revoked. But that doesn’t mean Pluto cease to amaze us. Pictures of those frozen landscapes, in the not-too-distant past, were few.
But when NASA’s New Horizons glided past Pluto in 2015, we gained more insight into the icy world. NASA has been sharing photos of Pluto so far. These photos have been liked by thousands of people and have helped generate interest in Pluto.
NASA has shared another photo and it blows everyone away as usual. In this image, Pluto is full of brilliant colors and for a space body it does look a bit unique.
NASA has shared the image on Instagram.
“Where does the rainbow end? Pluto isn’t really a psychedelic riot of colors—this color-translated image was created by New Horizons scientists to highlight the many subtle color differences between different regions of the planet,” said NASA in the post.
