Scientists who have been studying the Sun for years are trying to unravel the secrets of our heat source by evaluating their findings.
The Sun is known to go through 11-year cycles of increasing and decreasing solar activity. The period with the least solar activity is called the solar minimum, and the period with the most solar activity is called the solar maximum.
The increase in the activity of the Sun at the moment brings with it some explosions. The explosion that took place on the Sun in the past days was recorded as the 4th explosion in 2022.

Scientists say that the charged particles ejected from our heat source will miss the Earth this time.

The frequency and intensity of solar flares is expected to increase further over the next few years.
That’s because the Sun is heading towards maximum magnetic activity, the culmination of a roughly 11-year cycle in bursts.
Solar flares do not pose much of a danger to our Earth, but they can affect orbiting space missions.
For example, the geomagnetic storm on February 4 caused the Earth’s upper atmosphere to swell and 40 newly launched SpaceX satellites were out of orbit.
