NASA on the moon after a half-century absence

The most powerful rocket in the world, the SLS, took off successfully yesterday for the first time from Florida, at the start of the “Artemis” mission to return the US to the moon, half a century after the last US mission of this type. The rocket took off at night in a giant fireball from the Kennedy Space Center in the southeastern United States. Two hours after the launch, the US space agency (NASA) confirmed that the spacecraft is on its way to the moon, so much so that the third attempt was successful after two previous launch attempts failed in the last moments due to technical problems.
