NASA Launches SoFIE Project to Study the Nature of Fire in Space

SoFIE project scientist Paul Ferkul explains, NASA launched a series of SoFIE experiments designed for Northrop Grumman’s 17th cargo supply mission to the International Space Station.

In his instructions, SoFIE will run on an Integrated Rack Combustion station that has a space where an experiment can be carried out safely.
