NASA launches another rocket to the moon this weekend

Jakarta (ANTARA) – The US place agency, the National Aeronautics and Area Administration (NASA), will launch a different rocket to the moon on Saturday this weekend.

The Place Start Program (SLS) rocket and astronaut Orion’s capsule have been launched on Monday (29/8), but unsuccessful owing to motor difficulties. NASA officers say the rockets and capsules are currently still on the launch pad, so they you should not have to deliver them back to assembly.

Reuters noted Wednesday that, if the plan goes very well, the SLS will be launched from the Kennedy Space Centre in Cape, Canaveral, Florida, all over 2:17 pm on Saturday afternoon. The rocket introduced the unmanned Orion capsule for a six-week excursion to the moon.

The rocket start mission to the moon is named after Artemis I, the successor to the Apollo undertaking in the 1960s and 1970s. The mission was not released on Monday (29/8) simply because a person of the rocket’s major engines did not achieve the suitable temperature for pre-launch.

This issue is brought about by a defective sensor leading to engine cooling challenges.

About the difficulty, NASA officers reported it was handy to triumph over the obstacle so that the rocket could be fixed for start once again.

“The sensor action is inconsistent with the bodily legal guidelines of the scenario,” explained John Honeycutt, head of NASA’s SLS plan.

For launch following Saturday, NASA designs to get started the cooling system about 30 minutes early.

The Artemis I mission will set SLS and Orion on observe so that NASA can mail astronauts in the long run.
