The teams will consist of four people and have to live and work together for a year in a 3D-printed module of 520 square meters. The living space will simulate the difficulties of a real mission on Mars: limited supplies, tools that can fail, communication delays (the communication delay between Mars and Earth is about 10 minutes) and other stressors.
