NASA helicopter on Mars made its second flight. Photo

The unmanned helicopter Ingenuity, which arrived on Mars with the Perseverance rover, made the second successful flight.

As reported NASA, the drone rose to a height of five meters, hovered, tilted 5 degrees and flew off to the side by two meters (to see the photo, scroll the page to the end).

Also, the device once again hung up and made turns to direct its color cameras in different directions.

The entire flight took about 50 seconds.

As a reminder, the first time Ingenuity took off on April 19… The drone climbed three meters up, hovered in place for 30 seconds and sank back to the surface of the Red Planet.
