NASA still has a goal of putting American men and women on the moon by 2024.
Several have doubted whether this goal will hold, and the new, temporary NASA chief Steve Jurczyk has said that the 2024 goal is uncertain, according to the online newspaper Politico.
But now they are one step further on the road after a test of the Space Launch System (SLS) – their new rocket system which, among other things, will transport humans and machines to the moon. This time the test went as it should, but SLS has been haunted by many postponements and problems.
