NEW YORK – National Aeronautics and Space Agency (
NASA ) has detected a unique new discovery in outer space that resembles a blue sword like in the Star Wars movies.
As reported by the Daily Star, this rare phenomenon is referred to as HH1 or the ‘Herbig-Haro Object’ which forms a sword blade from the science fiction film directed by George Lucas.

According to the explanation of astronomers NASA, The blue, sword-like line is the path of two jets of extremely hot gas bouncing off a newly formed star about 1,300 light-years from Earth.
While we can’t see HH1 with the naked eye like a falling meteor or the Moon, the Hubble telescope can record this event using infrared imaging.
Meanwhile, scientists at the European Space Agency explained in a statement that events like HH1 are extremely rare.
“Newly formed stars are usually very active and in some cases, they emit a emission of ionized gas that is so hot that the molecules and atoms lose electrons.”
“The stream of ionized gas is then dispersed with clouds of gas and dust surrounding the newly formed stars at speeds reaching hundreds of kilometers per second,” the statement said.
Since floating around Earth’s solar system nearly 31 years ago, the Hubble Space Telescope NASA has made millions of impressive discoveries and captured some stunning photos.
This has helped scientists find black holes, estimate the age of the universe, and discover new planets.
