CALIFORNIA, iNews.id – On April 5, four astronaut will undertake the relocation of the United States’ first commercial crewed port on the International Space Station (ISS). The goal is to make room for new crew members at the end of the month.
The relocation of Crew Dragon port will be carried out by three NASA astronaut, Victor Glover, Shannon Walker, and Michael Hopkins, along with JAXA astronaut Soichi Noguchi. According to NASA, the event will involve the launch of the spacecraft from the ISS Harmony module at 06.29 EST.
Then, install it in the space -facing port at 07.15 EST. There’s a good reason to move the Dragon Resilience Crew. This will free the port so that the Dragon Endeavor Crew can dock there as part of the SpaceX Crew 2 mission.
Four astronauts, two from NASA, one from JAXA, and one from ESA will be launched to the space station on April 22, 2021. A few days after the arrival of the Crew-2 mission, NASA said astronauts launched as part of the Crew-1 mission will return. to Earth, freeing Harmony docks.
