NASA Discovers Repeatedly Feeding Black Hole ‘Swift J0230’

screwdiscovered a black hole ‘Swift J0230’ that repeatedly eats large stars like the sun.

‘Swift J0230’ was first observed on June 22 last year. It was discovered in a galaxy about 500 million light-years north of Earth, and it periodically explodes in the same location. However, there was insufficient data to produce accurate statistics, and after more than a year of research, NASA confirmed that it was a new type of black hole.

The black hole is the result of observations made by a new team within NASA, led by scientist Phil Evans, by analyzing data from the satellite X-ray Telescope (XRT). Phil Evans said of this discovery, “‘Swift J0230’ is a black hole with a mass of more than 200,000 times the mass of the sun, and it has become an indicator to confirm the interaction between different types of stars and black holes.”

NASA said, “We have pioneered a new field in astrophysics. “In addition, the discovery of a new black hole and the satellite
