NASA Astronauts Tell The Difficulties Of Returning From Space To Earth, Like What?

JAKARTA, iNews.id – Jack Fischer, retired astronaut NASA returned to Earth from the International Space Station (ISS) 4 years ago. He boarded the Russian Soyuz spacecraft to return to Earth.

Fischer revived his experience on Twitter with a new post. The post shows how difficult it is to get home from space. The video shows Fischer, NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Fyodor Yurchikhin sit in their Soyuz seat in 2017.

It’s three minutes of bumps, rattles, and bumps with time-lapse parts from re-entry and landing. “Some astronauts compare it to a series of car crashes … and I would disagree,” Fischer tweeted.

The video inside the Fischer capsule gives a very different look at the astronaut experience. Not all pizza parties and space parks, as quoted from Cnet.

Fischer also shared a stunning short video with a re-login window. “I came back from space four years ago this week, and if you’ve ever wondered what it’s like when you travel through this atmosphere — here it is,” Fischer said.

Fischer spent more than nine years with NASA before returning to the US Air Force in 2018. While the journey from space to space may be on the bumpy side, he seems to look fondly back at his time traveling between orbit and Earth.
