NASA astronaut Robert Shane Kimbrough shared a photo of Istanbul on his Twitter account while he was on the International Space Station as part of the mission of the American Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

In his post, Kimbrought said, “Istanbul looks great from space. In the second photo, you can see the Atatürk Olympic Stadium, the largest capacity stadium in the country. The stadium is named after Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder and first President of the Republic of Turkey.”

Kimbrough and his European colleague, Thomas Pesquet, took a 6 hour 45 minute spacewalk last month to replace the International Space Station’s solar panels.
