When you want to adopt a puppy, you usually want a perfect, cute and loving little dog.
Unfortunately, the appearance of the puppy in this video is not quite as perfect. The dog has a conspicuous malformation on its forehead and was therefore abandoned.
Luckily, the pup is rescued and becomes a true internet celebrity. More than 7000 people now want to adopt him.

The deformity on the dog’s face is not a birthmark, but a miniature tail that sits between the puppy’s eyes.

Without further ado, his rescuer calls the puppy “Narwhal” – in German: narwhal. She is alluding to the horn that narwhals wear on their foreheads.

Of course, Narwhal’s rescuer has the puppy examined by the vet and uses an X-ray to check what the deformity could be.

Luckily, the pup Narwhal turns out to be perfectly healthy. The facial deformity is simply a whim of nature.
