Naming concept: In ancient beliefs The twinkling stars in the sky are the gems that adorn the heavens. In the heavens, Indra ruled over the angels with magical crystals. The parent star is therefore named “Kaew Kosin”, in other words, it is Rattanakosin, which is the epoch when this star was discovered. And there is a star of the blue rattan family, “Pailin Siam”, whose names rhyme with each other as “Kaeo Kosin” and “Pailin Siam”.

Naming Concept: Stars are like gems from the sky, and Nopparat or Noppakao has long been an auspicious gem in Thai society. Therefore, I would like the Thai gem names to be inscribed in the sky as the names of the 2 stars of this system, consisting of “Thai Ruby”, derived from Siam Ruby, the king of ancient gems. Its red color represents its parent star, GJ 3470, a red dwarf, and “Sapphire Surround” is the planet’s name. This is because the sapphire is blue, like GJ 3470 b, and orbits “surrounded” by its parent star.
