CANNES – Supermodel Naomi Campbell walked more than an hour and a half late to an exclusive dinner hosted by Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel and British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful – but seemed unfazed by her premature appearance.
Sources at the dinner, which took place at the stars’ hotspot Hôtel Du Cap-Eden-Roc, exclusively tell Page Six that 52-year-old Campbell strutted into the soiree in a pair of sunglasses – it was night and not an ounce of UV rays was in Sight – with a security entourage behind her.
“She came in so late in the middle of dinner,” a source tells us, noting that everyone else in attendance, including Paris Hilton and Jared Leto, showed up on time.
We’re told the Dallas Buyers Club star, 50, “took it upon himself to calm the crowd” for toasts given by the Mirror, 32, and by jokingly telling guests they should “shut up”.

Hilton, who is scheduled to speak at the Palais for Cannes Lions 2022 on Tuesday morning, witnessed the Snapchat X British Vogue installation, where she was able to virtually “try on” designer clothes using augmented reality.
“This is sick,” she could be heard saying — though we wish the 31-year-old “Simple Life” grad had used her signature catchphrase, “This is hot,” instead.
Guests at the closed-door soiree, which included “Bridgerton” newcomer Charithra Chandran, ate an artichoke appetizer and a chicken entree but spent most of the night sipping copious amounts of champagne and rosé, we’re told .
