Naomi, 18, kidnapped in the United States, was found dead

The young Naomi, who has been missing for two weeks in the United States after being kidnapped, has been found dead, authorities announced on Wednesday.

Naomi Irion, who had been actively sought for two weeks in the United States, was found dead on Tuesday, American authorities announced on Wednesday. The Churchill County Sheriff’s Office in Nevada said they followed a lead to the possible whereabouts of the victim. On the spot, they discovered the body of the 18-year-old American, and were quickly able to confirm that it was indeed her.

A suspect has been arrested in this tragic case. Troy Driver, 41, has been arrested and charged with kidnapping. His bail was set at $750,000. He had been filmed on surveillance cameras entering his victim’s car. Naomi was in a parking lot at a Walmart store in Fernley when she vanished. She was waiting for a shuttle in the parking lot, which was to take her to where she works. But the images captured by the cameras show the girl being caught by a man and forced into the passenger seat of his car, in which the suspect then fled with her. Naomi’s phone was geolocated about 10 minutes from the parking lot on State Route 427. The signal from the device then died.
