Nantes: three members of Reconquête attacked by “antifa” activists.

About twenty “antifas” militants allegedly attacked three members of the Reconquest party in Nantes on Sunday evening. One of the victims said she recognized one of the attackers, already implicated in a previous case.

Members of the Reconquest party were attacked again. The facts date back to Sunday evening, in Nantes, shortly after the end of the World Cup match. According to the report of the complaint that CNEWS consulted, about 20 individuals belonging to the “antifa” movement arrested three friends, members of the Reconquest party, in the city center. After a tense verbal exchange, insults rang out; the term “Nazi” would have been used by the attackers. The three victims then tried to flee but were caught at the Starbucks. One of them allegedly fell to the ground after being mowed down with his foot before receiving blows, particularly to the head.

The victim said she recognized among her attackers a 28-year-old, already implicated in a previous case of assaults against activists of the Reconquest party last May. Known for his past, he had been the subject of a judicial review pending his trial in early December, eventually postponed to November 2023.

During this attack, which took place on May 31, several activists of the Reconquest party were injured, including Cécile Scheffen, candidate in the legislative elections in June for Eric Zemmour’s party. Contacted by CNEWS, the latter indicated that she was routinely intimidated, including at her home.
