The technical maintenance department is made up of 50 agents spread over different sectors: heating, remote management, the project support sector, electricity, contract management and fluid management.

Description of the mission

Employment framework for territorial technicians (grades of technician and 2nd class senior technician)

Employment level: level 1

Reporting to the sector manager, you manage the operation of thermal systems and climatic engineering installations in the buildings of the City of Nantes and Nantes Métropole and manage the associated team.

Your activities :

Manage, monitor and control heating installations. You organize preventive and corrective maintenance of installations and develop analysis, programming and monitoring tools. You carry out feasibility studies for new work sites in the fields of heating and plumbing as well as small studies in the context of energy control work. You optimize the installations (adjustments), carry out the inventory of the needs on these for the development of the PPI sustainable maintenance and program improvement works. Finally, you coordinate the activity of companies during delegated repairs (participation in site meetings, control of works and installations).

Manage a team of 5 maintenance agents. You plan the activity, organize and coordinate the interventions of the agents and ensure the follow-up. You ensure compliance with safety instructions and regulations and enforce them. You work in close collaboration with the other heating managers in control or outsourced and carry out activity reports.

Ensure a role of expertise and advice. You bring your expertise on new work projects (in support of the project support referent) as well as on Legionella issues. You guarantee a technical and regulatory watch in your field of activity and are a force for proposals concerning reductions in energy consumption.

Integrate the expectations of quality, safety and environment certification into your activities. You comply with the guidelines and procedures in terms of health, safety, environment and quality. You participate in actions and alert in case of anomalies.

Profile

You have solid professional knowledge in heating, building and industry piping as well as electricity and heating regulations in public buildings.

You master IT tools, remote management tools and are able to understand business software.

You know how to manage remote management PLCs for controlling installations and how to use machines and tools related to the trade.

You are able to lead a team and explain and enforce internal rules and procedures. Recognized for your spirit of initiative, your autonomy and your sense of analysis, you know how to report on your activity.

Finally, your interest in technical developments in the profession will be an asset for this position.
