FC Nantes is making up for its defeat against Rennes last weekend. Traveling to Strasbourg this Saturday for the 8th day of Ligue 1, the Canaries won 2-1 thanks in particular to a goal from the Congolese Samuel Moutoussamy.
After a first half which ended with a 0-0 draw, Nantes will take matters in hand at the start of the second half. Marcus Coco first opened the scoring for the Canaries in the 50th minute, before Moutoussamy added to the score in the 58th minute.
Strasbourg will eventually reduce the score in the 90th minute through Moise Dion, but too late for Racing who let Nantes win 2-1. A victory which allows the Canaries to temporarily occupy 8th place in the standings with 11 points.
