Dauphins of PSG, Nantes and Aix temporarily return to three points behind the club of the capital, after their respective victory against Créteil and Dunkirk during the 11th day of Liqui Moly Starligue.
Nantes remains in the game! The H comes back to three points from PSG (who will play Sunday in Limoges), after having signed his sixth straight victory in Liqui Moly Starligue, against Créteil (13th). Led during the first twenty minutes, but never more than two goals, Nantes then turned the tide, leading for the next twenty minutes by two or three goals, before flying away, thanks in particular to a 4-0. Rok Ovnicek and Milan Milic finish with 4 goals each (6 for Yoann Gibelin on the Cristolian side). Aix has the same number of points as Nantes, after its 29-30 victory over Dunkirk (12th). The Provençaux were very scared, because after leading by eight goals after 37 minutes of play (14-22), they saw the Northerners return to -1 to 2’11 from the end, but neither team scored then, the Dunkirk Samir Bellahcene stopping in particular two decisive shots. Steve Marie-Joseph scored 7 goals for USDK and Matthieu Ong and Kristjan Kristjansson 6 for PAUC. Dipanda hero of St-Raphaël! The Var (4th) won 30-29 against Chambéry (7th) thanks to a goal from their international right-back 17 seconds from the end, after a meeting rich in suspense. After the first twenty minutes when the two teams took the lead in turn, the Savoyards ended up breaking away at half-time (13-16). But the Var equalized (18-18, 35th), before seeing Chambéry again take a good lead (22-25, 43rd) then cash a 3-0. Six minutes from the end, “Chambé”, in the wake of Jean-Loup Faustin (8 goals), still led 27-29, but Raphaël Caucheteux (8 goals in total), Xavier Barachet and therefore Dipanda scored and offered the heist at SRVHB.
Istres sinks Nancy
After two draws in a row, Toulouse (8th) returned to victory by winning 30-32 at Saran after a suspenseful match. The Fenix indeed led by five goals in the 32nd minute (15-20), but Saran managed to equalize, without ever going ahead. While the score was 29-29 at 4’26 from the end, Tobias Wagner and Nemanja Ilic (7 goals in total, like Gonçalo Martins Vieira) scored for Toulouse, which thus offers itself this precious victory. Saran, despite Vasko Sevaljevic’s 6 goals, is 14th. Finally, the match of fear opposed Nancy to Istres, the last two in the standings. And the Provençaux sank a little more the promoted by going to win 23-27 in Lorraine. While Istres had started very well (8-12, 26th), the Nancéiens managed to pass in front (18-16, 43rd), but they completely cracked at the end, conceding a 7-3 in the last twelve minutes . Jakob Mikkelsen finished with 7 goals for Istres, while Nori Benhalima’s 9 goals and Obrad Ivezic’s 18 saves were not enough for the new red lantern, who will surrender on the next day.
