Nantes: a fire in a Roma camp destroys four caravans in Saint-Herblain

Sunday 23 May 2021, shortly before 6 p.m., firefighters intervened in a Roma camp in Saint-Herblain (Loire-Atlantique). When they arrived there, four caravans had been devastated by the flames.

The fire even spread to a green space located right next to the Roma camp. Three water hoses and 11 firefighters were deployed to extinguish the blaze. Two people were relocated by the town hall of Saint-Herblain.

No injuries

The fire did not cause any injuries. The latter intervened a month after another fire of the same kind, which had broken out in a Roma camp in Bouguenais (Loire-Atlantique). He had injured two people.
