Dresden – Lahmes Internet is increasingly becoming an obstacle for business, home office and leisure. But in order to get urgently needed cables into the ground, excavators have usually had to move in up to now. A new procedure is to be introduced in Dresden to change.

Fiber optic cables are usually laid underground as cable bundles next to gas, water or power lines.
Whenever road works are planned, the internet cables come with them.
A new process now enables extremely fast work on all roads: With a diamond blade, grooves up to 18 centimeters deep are cut into the asphalt and then immediately backfilled.
