Pascal Thomas, 52, has been tried since Monday by the Nancy Assize Court for attempted murder on his wife, October 18, 2017 in Essey-lès-Nancy.
At the opening of the hearing, the accused assured that he was pleading “not guilty”. Nadine is however categorical: her husband tried to kill her. That day, at the end of the morning, after having again sent photos of her naked to her former lover, this 47-year-old caregiver returned to the marital home. Knowing for a month of these sending of erotic photos, Pascal Thomas, would have “gone wrong”, at the end of yet another argument. This restoration agent allegedly placed a knife under his wife’s throat, knocked her down and then stabbed her. Three in the throat before leaving his wife to agonize, severed windpipe. The accused, for his part, delivered many versions. The final narrative is to claim that his wife violently pushed him around. She would then have flung herself on him, they would have fallen. His wife allegedly tried to strike him with the blade her husband was holding. And she would have stabbed herself …
On Monday, the personality investigator explained that relatives and family described the accused as “withdrawn, unwelcoming”. This Tuesday, the shrinks will come to evoke a psychorigid personality.
