Nancy. Parade of Grand Saint-Nicolas this Saturday in the city

This is THE long awaited moment in Nancy, during the holidays : the great Saint-Nicolas parade will amaze tens of thousands of spectators this Saturday 3 December. The procession of 23 tanks it has to leave from Place Carnot around 5.30pm, to end its run around 7.00pm on the unmissable Place Stanislas. Where mayor Mathieu Klein will hand over the keys to the city to the boss of Lorraine.

For this edition with the theme « Glass and lights “, the procession, embellished as always by numerous activities and wanderings provided by a dozen artistic troupes, will pass Place Dombasle and Rue Stanislas before heading towards Place Saint-Epvre, to reach the “finish line” via the Place of Career. That is, a hundred meters more than last year, for greater fluidity.

As these streets are obviously closed to traffic prior to this event, it is strongly recommended that you avoid the city center by car and prefer public transport or walking.

Also note, for the little ones, the return of candies to catch on the fly : in 2021, due to the health crisis, this tradition had fallen into oblivion.

In the end, the village of Marmaille in addition to the other seven set up for six weeks, will occupy Place de la Carrière for the whole weekend: this area dedicated to children (with games, rides, creative spaces and small shows) will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 10.3: from 30: 00 to 17:30
