Institution of the city of Nancy and flagship event of the literary re-entry, the Livre sur la Place, 43e edition, will be held this year from September 10 to 12. Enamelled with literary prizes, the show co-organized by the association of booksellers Lire à Nancy, traces the outlines of what will be the winners of the fall. One award is particularly noted, the Stanislas Prize. This trophy always crowns promising novelists. Its jury, chaired this year by Franz-Olivier Giesbert and composed of Baptiste Liger (Lire), Daniel Picouly (France Ô), Sarah Polacci (France Bleu Lorraine), Valérie Susset (L’Est Républicain), Pierre Vavasseur (Le Parisien) as well as five members of Groupama, partner of the prize, is a real talent scout. Its preselection is generally safe and guarantees great discoveries. Meeting this Friday, June 25 in Nancy, the jury has just unveiled the eight novels on which it will have to decide by the end of the summer. One of them will be awarded in August. The choice on Julie Ruocco, Furies (Actes Sud), Pierre Darkanian, The Chinese report (Anne Carrière), Céline Laurens, Where the caravan goes (Albin Michel), Salomé Kiner, Large Crown (Christian Bourgois Editor), Frédéric Ploussard, Mobylette (Editions Héloïse d’Ormesson), Timothée Stanculescu, The dazzling of little girls (Flammarion), Maud Ventura, My husband (The Iconoclast) and Rebecca Gisler, So the (Verdier).
