Jean-Marie Grandpierre died on October 22 in his 90e year. After university studies in France and the USA, he worked in the sales department of Pont-à-Mousson SA

A member of the Catholic Association of Nancy since 1976, he joined the board of directors of the Departmental Union of Family Associations (UDAF) in 1984. He chaired it from 1989 to 1998.

His presidency saw, among other things, the creation of the UDAF branch in Lunéville and the purchase of the premises in Longwy. Member of the national commission of approval and arbitration of the UNAF, he is involved in several mandates of representation of the UDAF, in particular in the field of housing and within the departmental council of National education . He was a user representative at the Gentilly clinic. Committed family activist. He received the gold medal for family merit in 2002.

His funeral will be held on Thursday, October 28 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Epvre’s Basilica in Nancy. Our condolences.
