It’s a bit like the story of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”. One of the lucky Thé Citron customers buying a “Love box” will have the chance to discover a “golden ticket” indicating that they have won a diamond ring.
Anaïs Kieffer, owner of the rue Stanislas tea room had the good idea to hide this precious jewel in one of the 200 gift boxes she offers to her customers.
“Each of the Love boxes that we sell for €49.90 contains half a bottle of champagne, small cakes, a bar of chocolate, a scented candle, a package of sand roses and raspberry marshmallow” , explains the shopkeeper, also at the head of the bakery-pastry shop Sucré-Salé, in the faubourg des Trois-Maisons, which she operates with her chocolate-pastry chef husband Nicolas Kieffer. “But only one also contains the diamond ring… I had the idea of offering something very romantic to my clientele for Valentine’s Day. It’s a first ! »
To implement this commercial operation, Anaïs Kieffer called on the know-how of a young jeweler, William Bouchard, whose workshop is located just above the Thé Citron salon, at 1is stage. “We found that it would be original to unite our know-how to arouse surprise and wonder among customers. The value of the jewel created by William is 1,800 euros. The love boxes are on sale at the Thé Citron lounge and also at the Sucré-Salé bakery and pastry shop. Lovers just have to try their luck.
