Namgoong Min, who went on stage after being called as the grand prize winner, said, “I’m going to say what Namgoong Min as a person, not Namgoong Min as an actor, wants to say,” and added, “After a crazy busy schedule, I suddenly had some free time, so I was idly watching in front of the TV. Suddenly, I was happy with myself.” I asked the question, ‘What is it?’ The result was simple. I had enough time to sleep and read the script, and I was happiest when I went to the filming set and the director gave a cue sign. I got to see a work that moved people with a good performance even without me appearing. “I can’t be that happy at times. I’m sincerely grateful to the team of lovers who gave me such happiness, and to the viewers and fans who loved me,” he said.

He continued, “Director (Kim Seong-yong) said, ‘I’m sick of Nam Goong Min.’ I went through a lot of hardships to the point of boredom by doing two works in a row (following ‘Black Sun’), but I want to do it again. The writer said he thought about it for 5 years and wrote it. I felt it. It was comforting to me as well. Eun-jin Ahn gave me a sincere look when I was having a hard time, so I relied on her a lot. Without Gil-chae, there would be no ‘Jang-hyeon’ and I wouldn’t be here. There would be no trophy. Lastly, my beloved wife Areum, my sincere thanks. “Thank you.
