After more than 13 years, Silke Barei is leaving the BRK district association Wrzburg, which she helped shape as HR manager and deputy managing director.
“We will miss their wealth of experience, but of course accept the personal decision”, regretted district manager Oliver Pilz.

With the wave of refugees five years ago and the current corona pandemic, Barei was involved in tackling two major challenges for the BRK district association, according to a press release.
“Personally, I was always proud to be part of a global institution that works for important values, such as humanity, and I was also committed to these values,” says Barei.
“With Ms Barei, the BRK will lose a highly esteemed colleague after 13 years. She will miss both the main office and the honorary office and wishes her all the best,” said district chairman Thomas Eberth of her work.
Katharina Schwitt will take over from HRK in the BRK district association and Stefan Dietz will act as deputy to the managing director.
