Named 11 countries that can become visa-free for Russians

The Russian Foreign Ministry has listed countries that will soon become visa-free for Russians.

Russia is preparing intergovernmental agreements on visa-free travel with 11 countries, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the Bahamas, Malaysia and Mexico. It is reported on March 5 TASSreferring to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Evgenia Ivanova.

He listed the countries with which negotiations are underway on mutual visa-free relations – Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahamas, Barbados, Haiti, Zambia, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago.

“At the same time, it should be understood that the process of agreeing on such kind of international treaties is a “two-way street”, and the pace of signing depends equally on us and on our partners,” Ivanov’s news agency quotes.

The expert added that upon reaching the necessary agreements, the Russian diplomatic department will certainly inform the public.

As previously reported, the most popular countries for New Year’s travel among residents of Sochi and the Krasnodar Territory were Turkey, Armenia, the United Arab Emirates, Israel and Uzbekistan.
