Indeed, at the end of the video (which stirred the audience of the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas), we can see the famous cinematic of the first Tekken where Kazuya throws his father Heihachi from the top of a cliff… which later became a funny family tradition.
While everyone kindly made fun of the CGI which was nevertheless the top of graphic imagery in 1994the strained smile of Kazuya Mishima gives way to something much more modern and scary, accompanied by a mention ” be ready“. Namco-Bandai has not come back to this moment yet, but everyone understands that it is a teaser for Tekken 8 which seems to be in preparation.
So, when does the Japanese publisher intend to show more? Obviously it will be at the next Game Awards that it will pass, since the official Twitter account of the event of Geoff Keighley just tweeted the same imagewith the same mention “be ready”. The famous sprinkled prize giving advertisements of all kinds does not yet have a specific date outside of a wave december 2022.
