Nainiai could not resist the quarter of Palanga, known as the Lithuanian Hollywood: they showed how the housing, which the entire elite is grabbing, will look like

A cottage in Lithuanian Hollywood: received an offer that cannot be refused

J. Nainys remembers that back in 2010, here in Kunigiškės, where their cottage stands, there were open fields, and only one other house stood around. He had to live in the neighborhood of that green field for a while with the Zip FM team, and today a new settlement is rapidly emerging here, which is comparable to Lithuanian Hollywood.

So, after receiving an offer to buy cottages by the sea in Palanga with other Lithuanian celebrities, the well-known music producer and radio host did not hesitate for a long time: what could be better?

“I think having a house by the sea, surrounded by my best friends, and spending summers here is an advantage. I don’t know where there could be any minus here – it will be a place for vacation, relaxation and being with friends. We just received such an offer with our friends, we discussed it, and we say – why not. Now we are discussing together how we will arrange everything here – whether there will be tiles or wooden floors, or maybe we will tear down the walls altogether and make a common big cottage”, laughs J. Nainys.

In the Kunigiškiai settlement, which is sometimes already called the “alley of stars”, J. Nainys sees many infrastructural amenities that distinguish the new quarter from other projects. He is fascinated by terraces, “Path to the Sea” a 15-meter swimming pool and a restaurant are installed in the common space of the project block.

Compared to spacious and modern houses in Vilnius, 45 m2 According to J. Nainis, the cottage is not big, but there are plenty of places for summer recreation. Interior issues do not cause anxiety for a well-known man, because among his acquaintances there are many designers and photographers who are ready to help.

“We want it to be very comfortable. After all, it’s not the house you live in – it’s just important for us to have a place by the sea where we can relax and sleep comfortably,” he says.

In the homes of famous people – relaxation without noise: a separate space for parties

Although Kunigiškės attracts more and more people, J. Nainys does not consider it a disadvantage – on the contrary, living surrounded by friends from the entertainment world sounds tempting to the famous man.

He is happy that he will be able to enjoy his summer vacation with his friends right in the same neighborhood – celebrities such as Natalia Bunke, Nail Bieranzas with Luke Gricius, Saugirdas Vaitulionis.

When asked how the rest of the entertainment industry company will look like during the summer holidays by the sea, he notes that he intends to spend time here in his usual rhythm, where the time for parties, rest and active life will be clearly separated. The man assures that there should be no conflicts due to noise, and nothing will disturb the peace of the neighbors who are tired after work.

“People in the entertainment industry know both sides of life. With experience, you learn to rest the way you need to rest. Learn to disconnect and just say when you need to sleep, when you need rest. We are not small children, and it will not be there so that the speakers are sticking out of the window and on the whole district Jovani is playing In our vision, it is a place for friends to relax, and I like to hold parties in clubs where there is space and all the possibilities,” says J. Nainys.

The best way to relax while working is to lie by the pool and do nothing – it doesn’t appeal

When it comes to solving community issues, the music producer says that he monitors the progress of work, does not miss an opportunity to speak and contributes to the general well-being as much as he can. However, he admits that he lacks time for more active involvement.

“That summer is so intense that you practically don’t have time to do your work or even see your wife. You have to do 5 events in one weekend, last year I did 6 – you don’t have time to rest. So what is another question, how to solve sewage or internet issues there. Most of the time, some problems or questions are solved over the phone and people responsible for them are appointed. But we always keep our hand on the pulse to see what is happening,” comments J. Nainys on the installation work.

Can a busy summer work schedule be combined with a beach vacation? J. Nainys does not even doubt it, and says: the abundance of work does not interfere with rest, when work is loved, and the favorite activity does not exhaust, but rather recharges new forces. Therefore, J. Nainis is not attracted to such a vacation where you should just lie by the pool and do nothing.

“I like my job. Even if I have to host 5 events in a weekend, I can’t say it’s work – it’s time for my favorite activities. When you do an activity you love, the tiredness after it is pleasant. Imagine – you go on vacation and decide to go for a walk. Physically, you get tired, but you like going because you see the surroundings, you get to know people. That’s what vacation is all about. It’s similar to me at work – I go to an event in a club, where I play for two hours, get to know people, make them have a good time, and have a good time myself. The whole process is so pleasant that there isn’t even that tiredness that makes me moan – God, how hard my life is, how I don’t want anything,” says J. Nainys.

The changes in Palanga are surprising: today it is a western resort

Palanga was close to the music producer since childhood – he used to spend summer vacations here with his aunt. According to him, Palanga has changed beyond recognition since then, and today it is a western resort that has a lot to offer the modern man.

“People of various interests can get everything from A to Z in Palanga – passive and active recreation, cultural and night entertainment await here, especially since there are now restaurants here. Every time you return to Palanga, it is somehow renewed and keeps growing. The city is expanding and modernizing – this is evidenced by the vastness of the Kunigiškės settlement. All this is the answer to why people want housing here”, says J. Nainys.

Not all roads in Kunigiškės are paved yet, but future settlers are already waiting for the settlement of the “Path to the Sea” project, and the sea is only 800 meters away. According to J. Nainis, next summer the cottage will be furnished for moving in and ready for summer vacation. The vacation home will be useful not only for vacations, but will also help you save money: the music producer admits that the events in Palanga have cost him a lot of money for hotels and a lot of time for driving.

“Spending summers in Palanga is a priority, because I have been playing in Palanga since 2012. The biggest problem is Palanga hotels, their costs are always the highest. No matter how fun it is, when you drive from Vilnius to Palanga every weekend, time, money and fuel costs – everything adds up. I have had this idea for a long time, where it would be possible to move in Palanga, so that everything would not cost so much. I think that my dream will come true from next summer,” he hopes.
