Already at the age of twelve, Nahim began YouTube. Content at the time: tutorials with technical tips and comedy videos. His classmates thought that was uncool and stopped talking to him – but he stuck to it doggedly. Success was slow in coming.
At the age of 18, his discipline paid off. In street surveys, he asked people bizarre questions (“What would you still say to your ex?”). The clips went viral and suddenly made him famous. His fans are celebrating the video series. Thanks to its success, he has landed a deal with the giant Amazon Prime, for whom he now regularly films special episodes. His videos on YouTube are long, sometimes almost two hours long. That’s enough time to run a lot of advertising – which means they bring in a lot of revenue.
Nahim publishes around eight episodes a month – and earns between 100,000 and 120,000 euros from YouTube alone! On top of that, he earns money from Amazon and placements. He doesn’t reveal how much that is.
Today, the 25-year-old treats himself to valuable watches, fancy cars and expensive trips. Nevertheless, he doesn’t want to squander it all: “Spend half of the money as if you were going to live another fifty years, and the other half as if you were going to live a few days.”
