Nahid Al-Sibai republishes Tariq El-Shenawy’s statements about her mother…and this is how she commented – Masrawy – Masrawy

Actress Nahed El Sebaei re-published the statements of art critic Tarek El-Shenawy about her mother, producer Nahed Farid Shawqi, after her departure from our world last Tuesday, December 5th.

Nahid wrote, through her Instagram account: “Oh God, grant my mother Paradise and make her one of the ladies of Paradise… O Lord, grant my mother Paradise and grant her the highest paradise, one of the neighbors of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace… Our Lord, grant my mother the pleasure of looking at your honorable face.”

Tarek El-Shenawy said in statements he posted on his Facebook account about Farid Shawqi’s late daughter: “Nahed Farid Shawqi is a great woman who bet on creativity in the time of the Sabah. She is the daughter of King Farid Shawqi and the legend Hoda Sultan and her great uncle, the musician Mohamed Fawzi. She left us, and always stood by… Edge, Edge of Danger spent everything it had on art.”

He continued: “She almost paid the price for her audacity in prison because she spent more than her money, but she only knew adventure. She told me a lot about what was left unsaid in Hoda Sultan’s relationship with Farid Shawqi, and how it extended beyond the divorce.”

He added: “I have a lot to tell, but I did not ask her permission to publish one day. I will write about what I may publish without asking permission.”

It is noteworthy that Farid Shawqi’s daughter passed away from our world at the age of 72 years.

The news of her death was revealed by her sister, the artist Rania Farid Shawqi, via Facebook: “We belong to God and to Him we shall return… To God is what He gives and to God is what He takes, and everything has a measure with Him. My sister, the great producer, Mrs. Nahid Farid Shawqi, has passed away to God’s mercy.”
